Here’s what we learned from the Great Openai report on how people use Chatgpt

The researchers said the younger people remain the main users of Chatgpt, which represents 46 % of the messages in the Openai Data collection.

Search and advice, not tasks, dominate conversations. About half of the messages include advice or information, and about a third ask Chatgpt to complete the task.

Most people use Chatgpt to write, practical guidance, or search for information. The rules are written on the day at work, and it constitutes 40 percent of the chats, but it sank to the third position of the talks other than the work.

The gender gap is also narrowed. While men dominate previously, the vast majority of women now seem to be women. The report said that about 52 percent now have feminine primary names, an increase of 37 percent in January 2024.
