Consider all the technology that we cover here in freedomYou believed that our employees will use their phones, laptops and other tools for all their productivity needs. But it is interesting, when we asked people to talk about their favorite productivity tools, there was a sudden discussion of laptops, pens and dry panels.
Welcome to a non -secret society where the members are interested in coordinating a notes notebook, the quality of its paper, and the available additions. Where the ideas of the article, family activities and interviews are filmed instead of writing. Where the productivity can be improved not through the program, but by finding the correct type of writing to apply to use it with the notebook you have chosen.
curious? Here are some of the analog productivity tools that we use here in freedom. It is not our only tools – let’s face it, this is freedomAfter all – but they work for us, so they may work for you too.
After years of trying every application of tasks on this planet, I returned to my analog methods with Hobonichi Roof A5 cousin and the younger hobonichi weeks. Something related to writing my body physically helps me to track what my time really deserves and what is.
His cousin is great to visualize my time on an annual, monthly, weekly, and daily basis. Weeks is what I use for each of the daily gratitude and tracking self -care, fitness and reading. Both books contain some additional pages in the back for the common daily (also known as Trans Random Method, Prain Comps, Notes Reference, etc.). There is also a smaller A6 size, if this is very large or skinny. All Hobonichi books have network format, and the Tomoe River paper is So Thin – but it requires a large amount of ink for bleeding. I have been using these notebooks for nearly two years, and while it was in the first place (especially if you buy them directly from Hobonichi, which is located in Japan, and it has to add shipping costs), it helped me become a more productive person and a much better writer. – Vetteria song, great references
These technical experiments seem more than functional laptops, but I love things that make you rethink how to use them. I usually have notes after that or a spiral notebook on my office so that I can write something or innovative logo graphics during the meeting. Sidekick L -shaped does not occupy a lot of space on, open or close my office. The Triangle PC is really great for its use in your lap or other unconventional surfaces, because it is very strong and flat on the spine. Both notebooks also encourage me to use my handwriting more, which was a decision for the new year that I had. Andrew Marino, a big product
Although I have a tendency to constantly search for different applications to use it in writing notes or tracking tasks, I must admit that over the years, I got more than one simple notebook with removable pages more than the idea, keeping or keeping them. It is sold by Leverger below the name about about around Circa, and notebooks are associated with plastic tablets that allow you to remove and replace pages easily. I have a red leather notebook in compressed Size, which is large enough to write comfortably, but it is small enough to fit my bag. (There are several sizes, ranging from very small jotlet to the largest message largely.) Plastic marks divide pages into sections; My usual habit is the openness to the first empty page, the seizure of my pen from the attached episode, and writing. Later, I can move the page to the appropriate section, remove it for storage, or get rid of it if you no longer need it.
It is not an ideal system – I often mention myself by going to the notebook and getting rid of old notes. (Also, the built -in volume often sells.) – Barbara Krasnov, review editor
About a decade ago, my mother Fxsedore (KNOCKOFF) bought me Christmas. Initially, I didn’t get it completely (I had already more than magazines and laptops). But then I discovered that the travel book was not just a notebook, but it is a full system of laptops – it is now indispensable for me. There is a lot of different inserts that you can mix and match to suit your needs, from laptops, the regular point to the two historians, and even leaf assigned to the water panorama.
After some experiments, I settled on a system that works for me. First, I have a Weekly + note Enter where I can put all important dates and dates on the left page, and use the network on the right page as a tracker, the tasks menu for the week, and Scatchpad when I need to ski on something. Then I have Point Magazine where I, as you know, magazine. The approximation of the preparation is Lined up This is a kind of book for me for the aggression of observations on the things I read and collect ideas for articles or songs. I also have a file Drawing Sometimes I add when I feel vibrant, but things become somewhat chunky with four inserts.
You may not need a separate magazine and that you are satisfied with putting one summary per day in your scheme. The memo area may be necessary and will be the introduction of a monthly scheme. Or you may want to enter the scraps record and get the supplement of each brown kraft paper. This is the beauty of the travel book: It is what you want. – Terns Operation, weekend editor
When I decided to try the daily again (with the notebook mentioned above) I was hoping to make the habit this time by making it a luxurious experience. Kharbash with a G2 pilot in any booty notebook bearing a brand that I had no. So I decided to invest in a fountain pen. I didn’t need to jump immediately to a $ 200 pen, but I also wanted something more beautiful than the $ 3 -dollar Zebra Zebra. I quickly settled on a Lami Safari (It is recognized that it is partly because I found a limited version in a wonderful Terracotta OrangeHe did not look back. I have tried some other fountain pens since then, but I still go back to a trusted safari at reasonable prices.
It is only $ 30 each, which means that you can build a small collection in a variety of colors at a very cheap price. I keep one with a notebook of passenger notes at all times, and one of them lives in my ruler permanently along with a Field notes When I want to travel. Then I have a third of living only on my office. Basically, it is never without a great writing tool, and I rarely resort to a set of free pens that have exceeded a full degree in my office. This is important since then, if you already enjoy writing a pen, it is more likely to use it to write down notes, update my task list, and magazine. It makes these things fun experiences, not just a routine work. – Terns Operation, weekend editor
Get a small dopamine explosion every time I run the top of the fountain pen and draw the ink on a page. As an unofficial wet in fine arts, writing a fountain is like my little way to make something beautiful while working on a job that does not pay me drawing. I have tried other pens, such as 0.38 multi -colored muji pens, desires of desire, and various gel pens with satisfactory clicks. But fountain pens are my daily happiness.
My love did not turn into an obsession. I use Platinum Prepy Pen Fountain This costs less than $ 10, and I re -fill the ink cartridge with Waterman INK using a needle that my friend gave me, a nurse. But I was able to see myself wider this to a hobby by bold to try different colors inks, and one day, visit Nibmeister to get a Qanour land To match the handwriting completely. Meanwhile, I will enjoy the foundation and direct fountain pen of what it is: a good way to write a nice line on paper. Elisa Will, an Amnesty International Fellow
I have tried digital productivity tools for observations and reminder, but I find that I remember things better when I write them by hand. I tend to prefer Japanese -made stationery, and me very Especially about the pens I use. Because when a fountain pen looks like an exaggeration, my favorite ink pen is the Sarasa clip in Zebra, which comes in various sizes. I like 0.5 mm for notes and basic blogging and 0.4 mm or 0.3 mm for more accurate details, such as when I need a small writing or try to write Kanji.
The Sarasa of Pens line is written incredibly smoothly and in a significant way, with a noticeable feature on similar ink pens, such as Pilot’s G2 (or, God forbid, a binary pen). I did not find myself at all to have to scribble on scrap paper to get saraasa pens, which are likely to be the largest pet with other pens, and it is easy to get them Ink packages on the Amazon. In my experience, the ink quickly dries on the page, but there is also the Sarasa sign, which is a staining and water -resistant version, for the contestants there. For daily writing, I will not use any other pen. – Callie Plagge, the upper copy editor
Sryberner Long Point Point Long Point is just a nice little object. It is a reassuring Muslim matter while still light enough to bear it every day. It has one function: it’s beautifully sharpening pencils. When the blade becomes boring, I can order an alternative from Blackwing, and I appreciate a little tool with a lot of life. You should apply a little pressure to really get sharp, and sometimes it creates a kind of indoctrine loop on the pencil wood directly above the point. Perhaps this is the reason why people use two phases? I don’t know, I am new to the luxurious pencil game. If so, I think it is an acceptable comparison to sharpen one step. – Allison Johnson, the first reference
For reasons I had not yet discovered, I wore every type of tools, routine and the way there is to write down the notes that could make me responsible. Online tools are usually very complicated for me to understand and easy to forget them, and we have never taken a magazine or notes after that.
Something that works for me is a dry weekly calendar plate in our kitchen. The person we use from Letterfolk has sections for every day of the week (People’s messages Just make the monthly version now), as well as the sidebar that can be customized for our needs. It also includes the letters and magnetic numbers that we have to replace, which is a fun and tangible experience. Whenever my wife and I felt exhausted, which is often, updating the painting to reflect what we need can make us feel a little improvement, whether it is to sort the additional food we need for meals, writing the coming dates, or discussing the child’s care. The painting does not replace every woe in our lives, and its modernization can be a job in itself, but it is a simple way to make life feel more organized. Cameron Volkner, Trade Editor
