Google adds “connection cards” that resembles iPhone to its phone application

The Google phone application adds “Communication Cards” It allows you to customize the appearance of communication screens for incoming calls. It resembles Communication sticker feature I have had iPhone users since 2023, allowing Google Phone users to replace TEEENY connection images that appear when someone connects you with full pictures on the screen and sparkling names.

The update is part of Android’s expressive design language repair, which Google used to test Renewed phone application interface In June. Contact cards began to appear in experimental versions of Google Contacts and phone applications earlier this month, but now you get a general version in the V188 version of the phone application. Google says that communication cards will be available all over the world, and they are offered “in stages”, so they may take some time to appear to everyone.

When the feature becomes available, users of the phone application will see a remarkable home tab reading “Submit the contact card: customize how to see your contact when they call you.” Transfer clicking on this user to the contact card page, but you can also transfer it manually to the contacts. From there, communication cards can be created for each contact by identifying a copy of the camera, exhibition or Google for the device, and choosing a line and color option that will be used to view the name of the contact.

Unlike Call stickers on iOSYou cannot design your contact card that will appear to other contacts when contacting them. Google call cards only allow you to set custom screens for your device, so you have to set them for each individual if you want to use the feature. These contacts cannot free how their contact card appears on your device, so you can enjoy some fun in how to customize them.

This rolls to a new side “Take a message” feature As for the phone’s application that automatically answers and copies of voice mail messages when you miss a call. Users can record a customized greeting heard by the callers when leaving an audio mail to take a message, or choose from one of the prepaid settings for the available welcome. The texts and voice mail sound can be found in the “phone application application” tab, and Google says that all messages “are stored separately on your device. The feature is available on Pixel 4 or newer phones, on Pixel Watch 2 or newer models when they associate Pixel 6 or more Google Phone models.
