Microsoft does a major change in how to save Winds for Windows documents. The application of text processing will soon save new documents on the cloud, instead of word users to enable automatic storage options and cloud storage.
“We are updating the method of creating files and storing them in Word for Windows,” Raul Monoz saysThe director of the product in the Microsoft Services and Experience Office. “Now you don’t have to worry about saving your documents: Anything new you will automatically create to OneDrive or your favorite cloud destination.”
The change is tested to Word for Windows with Microsoft 365 Insides, and the programmaker says the change will mean that you are never worried about losing any work and that documents can be accessed via Android and iOS or in the web browser.
The new documents will be saved on a date instead of the current coordination, which adds a number to the end of the document file name. You will be able to change the location of new documents by setting virtual cloud sites, and you can also disable the option to create new files in the cloud automatically.
Microsoft is increasingly pushing words users to save documents to the cloud, with the Autosave function that stores documents in the cloud by default. Program maker also uses NAG screens in Windows to persuade people to enable the OneDrive backup settings, which have proven unpopular with Windows users.
This last option to create new files in the cloud automatically adds another step to save files locally if you do not use OneDrive or store the other cloud.
