Tensor wants to be the first company to sell you “Robocar” – but who are they?

A new company is launched today claiming to have developed “the first vehicle independent of the consumer, and it is designed from AD to AD for private property on a large scale.” The company is called Tensor, and it describes itself as a “leading company in AI Agentic” based in San Jose, California – but there is little information on the Internet about who or what may be behind this new effort.

In its announcement, Tensor Autox or China did not mention. The company says it is “dedicated to building agent products that enable individual consumers” and that Tensor Robocar is its main product. It also claims to have offices in Barcelona, Singapore and Dubai. Autox is likely to be headed by its United States -based team Government restrictions on Chinese programs in vehicles. A spokesman for the company did not answer questions about its affiliation with Autox.

According to the brand application provided last April, Tensor belongs to Autox, a Chinese independent vehicle developer with operations in the United States and its home country.

Autox has tested its vehicles in San Jose and around it since 2016. It is not like some other self -governmental companies in the United States and China. The company was founded in 2016 by former Professor Prinston Giancunge Xiao, a 3D learning specialist, computer vision, and robots (which also seems to be “Professor X”, according to LinkedIn). Since then, Autox has canceled many prominent investors, including the Dongfeng Motor Group group in China and Alibaba e -commerce giant.

Now it appears to be the axis of robotics to “Robocars”. Tensor says her car is “the first and only independent L4 vehicle available for personal property.” It says it will be launched in the United States, Europe and the Middle East, starting in 2026.

“When the world turns … how will you move?” Amy Luca, chief marketing official in Tensor, said in a press release. “We are building a world in which individuals have personal AGI customers, and they boost freedom, privacy and independence. With Tensor, we offer the first personal robocar in the world, and it enters into the era of the specified cars. (Luka is the former CEO and president of the company, a marketing company based in London, According to LinkedIn))

“When the world turns … how will you move?”

By using the tissue words associated with companies such as Openai and Anthropor, Tensor seems to be trying to insert itself in the world of noise and artificial intelligence. After all, independent vehicles are the past decade.

Robocar of Tensor seems to be not sagging either. It comes with a group of high -tech sensors, including “37 cameras, 5 LIDARS, 11 radars, 22 microphones, 10 ultrasound sensors, 3 IMUS, GNSS, 16 collisions, 8 water detectors, 4 tire pressure sensors, 1 smoke detector, and three karn 5G.” Of course, these sensors will not be cheap, although Tensor did not put a price on the future Robocar.

Many companies have designs for the sale of self -owned autonomous vehicles, but none of them achieved this landmark. Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, continues that the “non -supervision” version of the company’s full leadership feature is just around the corner, but it has not yet been received. As General Motors said It will eventually sell fully driver cars to customers. But there is still a set of concerns about the cost and responsibility that you will need to get rid of before any company can take this next step.
