Kaiser to stop the gender -affirming operations

One of the largest healthcare suppliers in California has said it will stop providing gender operations for patients under 19, starting on August 29, which was criticized by members of the LGBTQ Community and praised by the parent groups.

Kaiser Permanence serves 12 million patients in eight states, including over 9 million in California. In a statement, the healthcare giant cites the actions of President Donald Trump’s administration to limit the care of gender -establishing, including Summons to doctors and clinics who provide care for transgender young people.

Some members of the California legislative LGBTQ Cauk have expressed disappointment in Kaiser’s policy as they struck the federal administration.
