Meta revealed this week the latest efforts to enhance the safety of teenagers and children on its social media applications, with a particular focus on Instagram flowing in adolescence. “We have added new safety features to DMS in adolescent accounts to give teenagers more context about the accounts they take with messages and help them discover potential fraudsters,” the post explained. “Now, teenagers will see new options to display safety tips and ban an account, in addition to the month and year to which the account joined Instagram, all of which are prominently displayed in the upper part of the new chats.”
