Apple launches AppleCare One subscription per month with a value of $ 19.99 with coverage of three devices

Apple announced on Wednesday that it launches Applecare One, a new monthly subscription plan of $ 19.99 that includes coverage of up to three products. Customers can choose to add protection for more devices for $ 5.99 per month each.

To date, people were forced to register their Apple devices in separate Applecare+ plans if they want to cover their products outside the standard warranty. Now, the company provides a combined coverage.

Applecare One includes all the benefits of Applecare+, including unlimited repairs to accidents such as drops or spills, 24/7 support from Apple experts, and battery coverage. Applecare One adds theft and loss to the iPhone to cover iPad and Apple Watch.

For the first time ever, Apple allows customers to add Applecare coverage to the Apple products they already have. With the new subscription plan, customers can add most products up to 4 years if they are in good condition. To check that the device is in a “good condition”, a diagnostic examination may be needed using the iPhone or iPad for the customer, or in the Apple store, before adding it to the plan.

“Applecare One Assyt is the same regardless of the products that are covered, which means that the customer can register iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch, and provide up to $ 11 per month on registration in Applecare+ separate plans for each device,” Apple explained in a press statement.

This means that if someone purchased Applecare One when you buy a new MacBook Pro and add iPhone to the plan, he will already save money by the lack of separate Applecare+ plans. In addition, they will get more value if you include another device, such as Apple Watch.

Apple says only the devices in the customer’s Apple account can be covered under the Applecare One.

For users who only want to protect one device, Apple says they can continue to subscribe to Applecare+. The technology giant also notes that covering the new Apple Watch and iPad will not only be part of Applecare One, but also available as part of AppleCare+ for customers who want to cover the iPad or Apple Watch.
