HP omnibook X Flip 14 Review: Flip Flop

Convertible laptops continue For growth in popularity, most likely due to the exceptional flexibility they provide to people who want to change their use-changing certificates between traditional tablets and entertainment entertainment devices. The latest entry device to this battle is the FLIP OMNIBOK X of HP, available in each of the 16 -inch and 14 -inch, which was sent for review.

At first glance, it is an incomplete device, wearing completely silver clothes, only cut through the HP brand that is reduced to the cap. But look closely and you will soon see some design elements that may raise the eyebrow.

It begins, strange enough, with the bottom side of the laptop, which looks like a corner base on which the keyboard is located. It also makes the laptop look thicker than it is, although at 19 mm (0.75 inches), it is actually about average for 14 inches. (However, the weight of 3.1 pounds is relatively heavy, and feels this way in the hand.)

Another big development is the keyboard. Instead of offering switches similar to the island everywhere today, omnibook X Flip extends all together, with an area of space between each of them. This makes each key a little larger than usual, and although this might seem useful, I found that it was made for a more difficult design experience as two switchs often hit more often than expected. It also seems very strange, also, a certain appearance of love or hatred, which clearly reminded me of some computers from the eighties.

HP Swaps Intel for AMD on Flip omnibook X 14 -inch (although the 16 -inch CPU uses the Intel CPU), and the model that is reviewed is one of the high -end compulsions available, including AMD Ryzen Ai 7550 CPU with AMD Radeon 860M, 32 GB of RAM, and 1-Terabyte SSD.
