Bang & OlufSen Beoplay A1 (Gen 3) Review: permanently wonderful

Once again in 2016, origin Bluetooth A1 (8/10, recommends) It was one of the first Bang & OlufSen under the most affordable sub -brand. The elegant aluminum scenario was a welcoming antidote to all rubber Bluetooth boxes, and as evidence of good design, it did not change aesthetically during three generations.

The third generation of Beoplay A1 was launched, and while the design continues to be recognized immediately and its wild effort, it has gone internally with the full arrangements process and is now better and more sustainable than ever. It is one of the best mobile speakers that I listened to at all, and remains acceptable as it was always.

So what’s new? First, there are two new types of finishes to match the classic aluminum – tone, (my review sample), and Eucalyptus Green. The speaker dangerously made well and ended without a defect. It looks and feels as much as it should be for $ 399.

There is a tablet on the design of the leather belt, but the important changes come from the inside. According to B & O, the Gen A1 3RD has the largest speaker in its category (3¼ inches), with the sound of the brow backed from 64 dB, which is the highest 2 dB of the second general model. The battery life also increased, from 18 to 24 hours. Interestingly, Alexa Voice has been dropped, as he did not want by B& O – they don’t want it. It still has a microphone and therefore still works as an amplifier.

A1 Gen 3 is also the first Cradle (Bronze level) The world’s loudspeaker. In the words of Layman, the speaker has a normative design that can be promoted and fixed, which helps to extend his life. The batteries can be replaced, for example, if you take the loudspeaker to the Bang & OlufSen store. The brand’s commitment of longevity and sustainability must be praised, and helps to justify outstanding pricing.

It seems that Bluetooth 5.1 is slightly dated here, and this means that there is no Auracast compatibilityBut you are still getting multiple points, stereo pair and adaptive APTX. The IP67 classification ensures dust and water resistance, as well as a USB-C socket that can be used to transfer data (future promotions) in addition to shipping.

Weighs 1.2 lbs and a height of 5.24 inches x 1.81 inches, the A1 is not pockets, but it is not large enough to cause problems in a bag or backpack. There is no preventive condition, but aluminum is difficult and no bad effects have appeared after a few weeks of collision with the subject and indulgence. The references, Parker Hall, dropped the two speakers in the first and second generation several times, and no horrific erosion was noticed, until after some small scratches. The leather belt is elegant, with a hidden but elegant brand, and if you want, you can use the IP67 amplifier like a shower radio in the old school.

Two of 30 -watt (60 watts to energy) loudspeakers (60 watts to energy), play the new 3 -inch loudspeaker and a 0.6 -inch amplifier, and together they pump a 360 -degree angle.
