Nothing headphone (1) Review: A remarkable design of the supported view with strong performance

Nothing was established in London in 2020 by Karl B, the former co -founder of UNLILS. The transparent feature was part of the company’s Get-Get design, which was integrated into its Android phones and ear headphones. I expected more round or oval design, in line with earphones. But nothing went with a square shape – or Snikle where the corners are rounded. While there have been a lot of headphones with square ear cups in the past, this model has a unique appearance with the feelings of the cassette.

I was affected by the quality of construction. The ear cups combine aluminum and high -tech plastic elements, and the ear pillows are resistant to oils and have a comfortable memory foam inside your head and a negative surrounding sound. Fold the headphones flat but not up and come with a nice pregnancy box.

I like how to implement the controls (except for the fact that the Bluetooth button, located in the inner part of the ear piece, hidden). They are material control buttons and one of the best I used on a pair of headphones that you have experienced so far. Along with the actual operating key, there is a soft cylinder button to raise and reduce the level of sound and switch through noise cancellation settings. The glory button allows you to skip the paths forward and backward. A button that nothing simply calls the “button” that activates your voice assistant. It can also be programmed as a shortcut to other features such as the Noteing’s Channel, which allows you to switch between modern audio applications.

As far as the features go, you will get what you expect greatly from a set of excellent headphones these days, although add -ons such as the conversation awareness mode are missing. There are ear sensor sensors-you should activate them in the Noteing X Companion-which stops your music when you lift the headphones from your head and resume playback when applying it again, putting a spatial sound with head tracking, low weight mode and binding Bluetooth. These headphones use Bluetooth 5.3.

In addition, there is a feature that allows you to play a sound through headphones if you leave it under an object or can hide themselves in other ways. Finally, you get EQ sets in advance in the application, as well as an eight -scope equivalent to adjust things according to your desire.

Uninstallable noise cancellation and communication quality

The noise cancellation was better than I expected. From my tests on the streets of New York, the headphones have great noise capabilities that have helped the quality of negative noise insulation from the ear pads. There are four ANC -low, medium, high and adaptive modes. Clearing noise is a small step or two steps behind what you get with Sony Wh-1000XM6 headphones, but it is at least a competition. A decent transparency mode – it is a very natural sound. However, the surrounding XM6 and AirPods max sound modes look more natural. The best transparency allows you to hear the world around you (with your headphones) as if you were not wearing headphones.

Another field where headphones exceeded my expectations is the performance of voice communication. The headphone contains six microphones, four of which are used for sound calls. The callers said they could hear me clearly with the minimum background noise in the noisy streets in New York. The voices of people speaking in the background were leaked from time to time, but the callers said they had not heard almost any traffic noise.

Fun and clean sound

From a technology point of view, these headphones contain 40 mm drivers with nickel -coated diaphragm, including RIM and Dome. Nothing says this adds hardness to enhance clarity in the heights and strength in the brow.

This is all true, headphones are clean sounding, almost no distortion, even in high sizes. Somewhat open to closed headphones, it provides a well -balanced sound, a fixed and well -specified bass. They are fun headphones to listen to. As for competing models, I am still more part of Sony Wh-1000XM6 to rest, and it has a slight performance edge to cancel noise, sound quality and audio summons. But it cost another $ 150.

As I said in the foreground, I think there is nothing to have a case to make these headphones are a better value than AirPods Max. Like AirPods Max, they have a unique appearance that makes it known immediately (whether you like the appearance of any of the headphones is a matter of taste, of course).

Although I am more partial for AirPods Max and like their general performance and the collection of features for iPhone users, she is nearly five years old if she did not count the USB-C update last year, which was not a big update. They sell $ 480 on Amazon at the moment, so they cost more than Sonys.
