Capcom had one of the best offers this year Summer Festival. Despite the highly exclusive presentation of Resident Evil 9, the preview of the publisher, Pragmata, was more open. This is the next shooter that caused my admiration for a unique mechanic.

Although you can target L2 and shoot with R2, like a typical shooter, you should take advantage of the piracy in Diana to open the weaknesses on each enemy. When targeting an enemy, a network appears, called the piracy matrix, on the right side of the screen. From there, you should use facial buttons to transfer an icon over the network in order to reach a specific point.
Facial buttons work like D-Pad: the triangle rises, moves the left, and so on. There are also unique points within the network that should be avoided or passed optionally for additional advantages. Access to the end of the network will open the enemy shield, allowing you to make more damage with your weapons. It is a unique combat mechanic that I have never seen in the shooter and it was very easy to wrap my head around it, making the firearm ring very enjoyable.
After fighting the first enemy, I managed to move forward to the neighboring hallway with more obstacles and enemies. Hugh can jump with X and also hover if the button is hung. This was useful to cross into large gaps or to evade the devastating laser. This started when I faced a door asking me to search and wander to find five locks to penetrate and move forward. Many new enemy species have appeared, including aircraft aircraft. The drones would easily avoid fire, but the rapid penetration amazed them in place while making them vulnerable to attacks. An enemy similar to the walking tank also appeared just as it opened a new weapon: The Shockwave Gun.
The shock rifle works like a gun, allowing me to deal with more damage to one or more enemies as soon as it is penetrated. This knot reduces enemy shields, allowing our footage to cause more damage as soon as it is at risk.
