Apple Wallet is gaining new travel -friendly features at iOS 26


Apple wallet gets more traveling friend, Apple announced at WWDC 2025. The application will soon be able to keep a digital version of your passport, and you will gain climbing permits to new features that make travel a little easier.

Apple said that the new Passport feature is “not a substitute for your financial passport”, but it can be used in applications that need to verify age, identity and in supported TSA checkpoints. Digital passports can help involved who have not yet obtained their true identity.

A long time ago, the climb passes have been stored in the portfolio application, allowing rapid access from the lock screen. But with iOS 26, they get a set of new features. The climb permits will now include links to the peripheral maps, so it is easier to find your way to the gate or luggage.

Once you reach the claim, the new Wallet link must be to find useful, allowing users to check the climb pass to track the progress of their portable luggage.
