After detection the next death Match last summerid Software is almost ready for release: the studio announced it Death: The Dark Ages It will be launched on May 15.
The news came as part of The latest developer live stream on Xboxwhich provided the best look yet at the prequel. As the name suggests, Dark Ages The film is set in a medieval fantasy world and takes place long before the events of… Eternal death and The franchise rebooted in 2016. The developers say the new game features a much larger world with a greater focus on story — including plenty of cutscenes — but the most significant changes seem to be in how… Dark Ages You will play.
The big focus this time is on melee combat. Since this is death The game is set in the Middle Ages, meaning players will have access to brutal new melee weapons like the spiked mace and iron flail. The scale of battles also appears to have escalated. We already knew players would be getting a cyber dragon-shaped board, but today’s reveal also showed off a skyscraper-sized mech suit so the Doomslayer can fight kaiju-sized enemies.
Another big change is a greater focus on accessibility through a series of gameplay sliders. These allow you to adjust things like game speed or dodging timing, either ramping it up or down. Essentially, these options should give players the ability to truly customize the experience, either making it easier or more difficult. There are standard difficulty options as well.
