New York City wants to predict metro cameras from artificial intelligence “a problem” before they happen

However, MTA spokesman Aaron Donovan confirmed Gothamist The new system will not depend on face recognition. “The technology that is explored by MTA is designed to identify behaviors, not people,” Dunovan said.

This is not the first time that MTA has implemented artificial intelligence. In 2023, she revealed that she was using the observation program in which artificial intelligence works Follow the evaders on the metroMonitor Matthew, where and how most of the fee occurs.
