Nike faces a lawsuit from people who bought NFTS

A group of people filed a lawsuit against Nike this week because of its decision to end the RTFKT virtual project last year. Nike digital assets are accused of causing the “carpet that is withdrawn from under it”, and they say they will not buy NFTS if they know that they are “unregistered securities”, ” Reports Reuters.

The proposed collective lawsuit was filed in the Eastern Province in New York, and seeks “unlimited damage to more than $ 5 million due to its alleged violations of New York, California, Florida, Oregon and consumer protection laws.”

Nike tried to jump to NFT by Buy RTFKT in 2021. but, Like Starbucks OdysseNever succeeded, and the company abandoned the idea, as it announced in December via the RTFKT X account that it had planned “RTFKT operations” by the end of January this year.
