Patreon, a service that allows artists and creators to provide exclusive content to subscribers, launch a new tool that enables creators to live on the statute.
The company said that the feature intends to allow the creators to communicate with their fans in the actual time, whether it is an author hosting a question and answer about a recently published book or musicians who test new music for their fans.
Tool It competes directly with similar offers on platforms like Twitch, but focus on creative communities and less deviations.

“So far, the creators were forced to go on the platforms that were not designed to determine the priorities of their business,” the company said in a statement. “We change that: since it was built directly inside Patreon, creators will not need to compete with crowded extracts, dispersal of ads, or anything else that hinders the linking of creators with their primary fans.”
Creators will be able to go directly via the Patreon Mobile or desktop app, with options for free or paid access to the members, allowing them to adapt flows to the growth of the public or profits, according to the company.
The platform also adds a live chat to the conversations in the actual time, and the reactions of the emojis that appear on the video operator and moderation tools that allow creators to set the tone of their societies.
Creators will also have the option to share Livestream records with fans who have missed the event or download videos for use on other platforms.
Patrion said that some creators will get early access to the feature as soon as this week, with a broader view later this summer.
“It is interesting, but I will not use this yet,” said Luke Westwi, the content creator, Patrion user and former CNET editor.
Westway says he appreciates the consistency of his subscribers.
“I am working on a YouTube site only for sponsors who arrive through a player who is included in the Patron’s post, and in my experience, Patriion’s subscribers can consistency and the ability to predict their content, and I am very cautious about anything that changes how they reach that,” he said. “However, there are some features that you cannot do on YouTube, such as the promised ability to sell flows after the truth as VOD purchases for one time, which may be great.”
Westaway has a firm account, but it admits that new users may feel different.
“If I just launched Patriion today, I might tend to abide by it, but at the present time, I think I only have to wait, watch and know if Patriion still seems to be committed to it within 12 months,” he said.
