the Restart the social news site early ongoing. The original founder Kevin Rose and the founder of Reda Alexis Ohahanian launched an early society to reach some of the first people who participated after the announcement of last month that the couple had bought Digg and plans to re -launch it as a new thing.
The early access program is called “Broundbreakers” and costs 5 dollars to join one-time fee that Digg says revolves around keeping robots in exchange for making money. In fact, Digg says that the returns will go to a non -profit institution, “We will choose together within society.”
People who join the foundation lists will be able to “updates, risks, experiments” and “front row seat of how to rebuild Digg”, according to an email that came out on Thursday morning. They will also get DIBS first on user names and “Broundbreakers” in their profile to celebrate “Those who built (Digg) from the beginning.”
Practically, the community experience is operated on a circle, a Community -based community platform for creators. It is not immediately clear the number of people who have reached the early access program.
The subscription and chatting process was at the beginning at first a bit slow Thursday morning. By the time when this story was published, nearly 3000 people joined.
