4chan creator says ‘Epstein had nothing to do’ with creation of notorious far-right council /pol/

Epstein had nothing to do with the reintroduction of the politics board to 4chan, nor anything else related to the site. The decision to add the plaque was made weeks ago, and the plaque was added approximately 24 hours before our first chance encounter at a social event. His assistant then reached out to me, and I met him once at a memorable lunch meeting. This happened at a time when I was meeting hundreds of people a month while speaking and networking at tech events.

I never met him again or maintained contact with him. I regret ever having met him, and my deepest sympathy goes out to all his victims.
